I have other Monica leggings. Black ones. So I knew I would love how they felt and how they looked. I wanted these more for knock around, so I returned and ordered a size up bc I didn’t want them as compressive as I like my workout pants. I also love the color. I was tired of my only black pants. I don’t love bright, or trendy colors and this taro color felt like a really nice shade to be considered a classic but break up my black.

I originally got a pair of these in a style box 3-4 years ago, and they've been my favorite casual leggings since. The pair I had eventually wore out beyond repair, so I did some digging and found them again here, direct from the original brand. They're slightly different than the pair I originally got, but not in a bad way - a bit thicker material, higher waist. They're still incredibly comfortable and flattering - a petite (5'2") person, the hem hits right at the ankle and the waist sits very high (but that works for me and my body). It's a bonus that it turns out the company is eco-friendly! It's a bit expensive, but I do hope to make additional purchases in the future.
